about

(8 minute sampler track provided here of the full 70 minute album which will be downloaded after purchase. Download also comes with .pdf of full color booklet and computer wallpapers.)

Previously unavailable and exclusively on Bandcamp, “Track Of The Full Moon On Water” was created in 2010 during the sessions for my album, “Catalyst,” as a long form version (70 minutes) of the track, “Track Of The Moon On Water.” TFMW, composed entirely of keyboard, is probably one of the most simple, quiet and most placid long form pieces I've ever made.

The title was inspired by a euphemism for the goddess/ascended master, Quan Yin, whose gentle demeanor and beautiful story (to put off her own ascension until all of humanity is enlightened) always touches me. More than that, I remember that the initial elements for this piece were recorded on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning here at The Treehouse (my name for my studio in my home). For me, this piece is imbued with an abiding sense of piece and serenity that perfectly describes my home and studio.
