translucent words, translucent times:
“translucent” began as a 15 minute-plus track on my pioneer light music release, “threshold: near series.” once again, i love the feeling of this track, and consider the first version (and many of the near series tracks) to be sketches for more in-depth studies. created during facebook live improvisations in 2017-2018, i feel that these tracks were prognosticatory of developments in the world, almost 6 years later...at least for me. by this, i mean that we are entering a time of greater transparency, where we can see in greater detail, both more light and more dark highlighted in both external worlds and internal, personal worlds...and as painful as it may be at times, we need to see, feel and finally incorporate, these multidimensional aspects of being.

like all “near series” tracks, “translucent” was made using elements created during live improvisations, so some small artifacts may exist.
