timeless tides:
we are bombarded with messages from movies and books that time is not what we think it is. increasingly, we see that while we experience time in a linear fashion, it may actually be more like a tree or visual of a nervous system, with branches originating from branches originating from branches. we may believe we are experiencing one of these branches, but we can actually be experiencing multiple branches at one time, with some resembling the others, and others being wildly different. the way time behaves may even vary from place to place, person to person. it may be a complete manufacture of our consciousness. we are entering a time when more and more of us will awaken to this broadening sense of time—this timeless tide. while working on a current album, i discovered the wip of “tides of time” buried on an external drive and i believe the shorter version was started during the sessions for “what is real” earlier this year.
