The Path Of The Heart

Berkdrums A more serein release by Steve, which works wonders to me... It's really breathtaking and the title says it all I think because it's so deep and sounds like it's made from the heart. Less wind-instruments and a little less fieldrecordings but the synth-pads are só beautiful and intense. I would say: 'more please!' but we have nóthing to complain because there ís more!: although all Steve's releases are very different, they're all deeply immersive and carry Steve's own 'brand'... so don't hesitate and get this beauty!!!

<=> *A sublime and subtle album of well crafted ambient vignettes that touch the heart...I am always impressed how SB uses white / silent spaces as he brings in meaningful color, tone and shade. This album exemplifies SB's talent and spirit. Enjoy this Peaceful and Serene album from the heart. Favorite track: The Path Of The Heart Album Sampler.

Brian Bourassa Though less organic than previous releases, this album is not one bit less appealing. Steve has a way with music that always captures the inner imaginative resources of your mind.

Yet another great RM release.

Richard Gürtler ..."Let It All Fall Away"... mind-blowing transcendental Eden unlocks its gates, the listener enters strikingly magical domains carved by two exceptionally gifted sound curanderos...

"The Path Of The Heart" CDr is another brilliant sonic installment by Steve Brand and essential proof of his genius for "beyond the gates" ambience. A must-have 78-minute album with fully rewarding listening explorations, so hats off to Steve Brand!!! And kudos to Mark Seelig for his significant guest input!!!

I began communicating with Mark Seelig via the internet and quickly found that we had a great deal in common, and so i was inspired to ask him to send material for a collaborative track for this album, which turned out to be “Let It All Fall Away.” Mark travels frequently his work as a therapist, so he managed to to squeeze in the recording of his contributions (voice and bansuri) while at a friend's studio. Thanks to Mark for taking this track to it's emotional peak.

“The Path Of The Heart” was begun in early 2014 as the result of several live improvisations in my studio. This music reflects my realization that I often feel that my entire life has been a journey to and of the heart, my heart, my core, and it has often not been direct or easy, but it is the ultimate and inevitable journey of my lifetime—and one that connects me to ever larger sources.
