"Epicenter..." was originally released as a free download in 2008 from my website. The basics for this track were originally created for a French label that did 3" CD releases only. Now, timing in at 28 minutes, the track I'm offering here on Bandcamp is a alternate mix/update of that original e.p. (composed primarily of processed shakuhachi, keyboard and field recordings)—re-released on BANDCAMP ONLY on my own Pioneer Light Music label.

In 2008, vast changes were were being forecasted for the planet—some were very dire, and others indicated that while challenging, these changes would be full of hope. Now, 4 years later, the predicted changes are well underway, and some say that 2012 is the irreversible center point (the epicenter) or pivot point of that change. You only need to read the news to see the proof that this change is taking place—globally, and even on a very personal level for everyone. In my view, it's a change to a higher vantage point, and an opportunity for freedom from older constricting ways of Being and doing.
